Halloween Party Ideas! (Part 2)

“When it is dark enough, you can see the stars.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson. The curated Halloween Party Ideas Part 2 was postponed due to an awesome visit with out-of-state family! As promised, here it is, and worth the wait 😉 Take a peek at Part 1 if you haven’t seen it. I’ll also go over some astrological highlights for this week too!

First up, greet your ghoulish guests, trick-or-treaters, and fiendish friends at the door with a creepy clown wreath! Yikes!

Mood is everything. For this DIY Bloody Candle, simply light a red candle and drip its melting wax over a white one. Chilling.

Did you carve your pumpkin yet? Ours is still sitting outside, intact. However, we’re considering a pineapple jack-o’-lantern too! Check ’em out, they’re mysterious and spooky… and pretty damn cool!

Time for astro talk! Today (10/18) Venus enters Sagittarius until 11/11. This will affect us in the romance department and our social interactions in general. When dealing with people, we’ll feel like telling it like it is, and we’ll carve out space and freedom to explore our independent natures. On Wednesday, there’s a smash-up with Mars and Pluto in Capricorn, a meeting with explosive potential. We’ve been feeling this energy since the Full Moon, and it will linger through the upcoming weekend. Conflict resolution is your friend now and will get you through the (seemingly inevitable) confrontations. Channel Gandhi, breathe, take the high road. Capricorn rules structures, life goals, careers, and male authority figures. On the positive side, this transit could bring job opportunities, public recognition, and a possible transformation of masculine energy. It is time for both men and women to redefine the 21st century (Hu)man. Outdated gender roles not only hurt women, they limit men’s potential for growth and evolution too. On Thursday the 20th, Mercury in Libra opposes Uranus in Aries, which may either be a blunt “foot in mouth” day, or your mind will connect the dots like lightning. Stay present and aware, drink some chamomile or lemon balm tea to calm your nerves. Seriously. Saturday night, October 22nd, is the official start of Scorpio season! Sex, power, desire, obsession, family legacies, intense emotions, and complex psychological conversations will be the norm for the next few weeks. Oh Baby…

Feel free to share this post! Next week ~ Gifts for Scorpios! Stay tuned, and thanks for reading 🙂
