Time for astro talk! Today (10/18) Venus enters Sagittarius until 11/11. This will affect us in the romance department and our social interactions in general. When dealing with people, we’ll feel like telling it like it is, and we’ll carve out space and freedom to explore our independent natures. We’ve been feeling this energy since the Full Moon, and it will linger through the upcoming weekend. Conflict resolution is your friend now and will get you through the (seemingly inevitable) confrontations. Channel Gandhi, breathe, take the high road. Capricorn rules structures, life goals, careers, and male authority figures. On the positive side, this transit could bring job opportunities, public recognition, and a possible transformation of masculine energy. It is time for both men and women to redefine the 21st century (Hu)man. Outdated gender roles not only hurt women, they limit men’s potential for growth and evolution too. On Thursday the 20th, Mercury in Libra opposes Uranus in Aries, which may either be a blunt “foot in mouth” day, or your mind will connect the dots like lightning.
