Astro-Vibe of the week:

This week begins with a harmonious sextile between Mars in Aquarius and Uranus in Aries. It’s a good time to gather with your exciting and unusual friends and family. Be open to new allies that can help expand your personal life, and possibly your world views. The Sagittarius Sun brings more previews of the Jupiter in Libra opposition to Uranus in Aries, happening around Christmas. On Friday (12/9), the Sun sextiles Jupiter, a jovial transit that should raise spirits all weekend. It’s also a “lucky” transit that brings opportunities from cultivating a positive attitude. The Sun will be in a blazing fire trine with Uranus over the weekend that culminates on Sunday (12/11). The energy will be charged, so it’s best to do something active, spontaneous, and mind expanding ~ another good time to get together with your more adventurous and boundary-pushing friends!

The moon is in the second quarter this week, building towards full next Tuesday (12/13). Right now is the phase to bring short term projects to completion that were started a week ago when the moon was new. The Sun will conjunct Saturn this Saturday (12/10), which helps give us the focus and discipline to wrap things up. Also on Saturday, Mercury will be in a harmonious sextile with Neptune, which stimulates the imagination and increases sensitivity, sometimes to the point of intuition becoming psychic. This energy is especially good for exploring spiritual, mystical, and metaphysical matters. Mercury is entering the “shadow” period, getting ready to go retrograde from December 19th to January 8th. As we mentioned in a previous post, this shadow period will bring hints from the Universe to show the challenges that’ll appear when Mercury is retrograde. Listen to your intuition and “gut instincts”, and tie up loose ends regarding transportation, communication, appointments, and any documents that need to be signed.
